The Town of Essex Selectboard may vote and sign a resolution or proclamation from time to time. A resolution is a formal intention made by the Selectboard after a vote. A proclamation is an official declaration issued by the Selectboard to make a public and official announcement that expresses support for a particular issue. Resolutions and proclamations should have a direct bearing on the Town of Essex or its residents or recognize an Essex resident, organization, or event.
